The article discusses social changes recommended and taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The architecture is changing where the wrought-iron balconies have given way to glass and steel smooth structures. Changes in the educational policies are also discussed where it was decided that the Human-Rights Day celebrations would be made by a forum on school education. It was boycotted by lots of organizations including the school board. On December 10-Human Rights Day, ironically, it submitted to a three- judge court, a brief which contended that desegregation of the city's schools would lower educational standards and create a health menace. Roman Catholic Schools in the region insist that progress has been made towards Racial Integration.
