The article presents developments related to the U.S. politics and society. The ugliest dictatorship is maintained by President William V.S. Tubman in Liberia who forced his political opponents to be sentenced to death by hanging. It also discusses New York waterfront story which presents the estimates of export and import cargo going through New York port. The death of Dr. Will Winton Alexander, director of Farm Security Administration, is also reported. The article discusses revocation of the suspension of Mrs. Margret Jean's license as a teacher by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction in Washington.
