From the "Land of the Bible," a large and important exhibition on view at the Metropolitan Museum on New York through October 12, 1953, involved a major enterprise of study reflection, 'hauling and installation in which all concerned may take pride. It was brought to the United States by the American Fund for Israel Institutions and will later be sent on a tour of our major museums. It is not easy to review an exhibition which covers more than 50,000 years of the history of man as artist and craftsman.
