This article presents information about various plays. The play "Cranks" is a little revue from London, England. The four members of its cast sing, dance, make fun and change the stage properties. Anthony Newley is the comedian, Hugh Bryant has the voice, and Gilbert Vernon dances best. The play "Bells Are Ringing" is a musical about a big-hearted girl in an answering service. Jerome Robbins and Bob Fosse, who are gifted choreographers, haven't done anything like their best work. On the credit side is the wholly winning performance of Judy Holliday. She is such a wonderful person on stage that her singing and dancing become more attractive than that of performers technically much better equipped.
