This article presents information about various picture books. The picture book "Romanesque Art," by Juan Eduardo Cirlot deals only with the special, but superb, development of Romanesque painting and sculpture in Catalonia. Most of the examples are in a museum in Barcelona, Spain. The book "Post-Impressionism: From Van Gogh to Gauguin," by John Rewald presents a history of seven crucial years in modern painting, from 1886 to 1893. It is a sequel to the author's unsurpassed study of Impressionism.
