This article focuses on the political condition of the U.S. If words could be taken at, face value, then one could say that the American people have suddenly achieved a remarkable unanimity of views on the social revolution that is under way in the South. From right to left, North to South, politicians are battling for possession of the right verbalisms. In measuring the magnitude of the disaster which has overtaken politician Adlai Stevenson in Minnesota, the marked advantages which he enjoyed must be emphasized. His campaign was lavishly financed, with state-wide television hookups, student rallies, teas, coffee klatsches and smorgasbords. In short he had every advantage and still he lost.
