Students of the University of California's Berkeley campus have generally become more concerned with religion and religious activities in the past few years. This, at least, is the opinion of most campus church groups. Trinity Methodist Church reports that over the past year there has been a marked increase in service attendance and in participation in its Wesley Foundation youth group. St. Mark's Episcopal Church and its Canterbury Club make similar observations. The Catholic Newman Club states that, although the number of students participating in its activities has always been a good percentage of the Catholics on campus, there has been a large increase in the number of converts.
