The article critically discusses the plays "Less Fausses Confidences," and "Baptiste," by Madeleine Renaud and Jean-Louis Barrault and the play "The Trial," by André and M. Barrault. The plays are performed in various parts of New York City. The article is of the opinion that "Les Fausses Confidence" is a sparkling and a delightful comedy. He further views that "Baptiste" presented moods from irony to serious romantic and again back to irony and thus lost the message as to whether it was a period piece or timeless commentary on man's fate. "The Trial' is swift moving, dramatic, and utterly convincing.
