The article informs about music, some of the distinguished musicians and some musical instruments. One of them focuses on the performance of Kirsten Flagstad at the Carnagie Hall concert of Wagner's music. One of the other outstandingly beautiful voices are that of Eleanor Steber's. A less impressive performance of "Et. incarnatus est" is to be heard in the LP recording of the C minor Mass issued by the Haydn Society. The soprano is Rosl Schweiger, whose voice lacks sensuous beauty and at times is not agreeable to the ear.
