The authors of the article are deeply influenced by a two-page spread in the recent issue of the "Film Daily," A four-tone advertisement for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer shows a nightie-clad little girl kneeling, eyes closed, before the bars of her crib. Superimposed on the photograph is one of those word balloons indicating that the tot, believe it or not, is saying: " ........and God bless M-G-M!" The authors share their experiences on what they initially deciphered of that advertisement and their final outlook. The article also presents the biography of "The Nickel," the most popular coin of the U.S. which is going out of operation as of May 1950.
