The article focuses on the political and social conditions of South Africa. Minister of Native Affairs H.F. Verwoerd and his colleagues symbolize a turning point in South Africa's development. The Nationalist draft constitution of 1941, which was to be put into effect by collusion with a victorious Adolf Hitler, has never been repudiated by the party which wrote it. It remains the blueprint for South Africa's future in the impractical minds of Verwoerd and his friends. So far as the whites are concerned, the country would be a one-language, one-party, one-flag dictatorship.
