This article presents information about various political issues. It is approximately one year since the white settlers in Kenya, rather reluctantly supported by the British government, launched the undeclared and officially unrecognized war against the Mau Mau. The "Economist" reports that prolongation of bloodshed is having incalculable effects on race relations throughout Africa. The annual conference of the International Liaison Committee of Organizations for Peace was held this year in the beautiful castle of Heunigen, at Stalden near Berne. The subject of discussion was the United Nations. A large number of organizations were represented.
