This article presents information on the recent socio-political developments in the U.S. It is informed that the economic aid agreement between the U.S. and Spain are temporarily put on hold as decisions regarding the basic military relationship between the two countries is yet to be negotiated. The announcement regarding the economic aid agreement was made by Paul A. Porter, acting Mutual Security Administrator of the U.S. However, it is reported that discussions on the above mentioned subject between the concerned countries would begin soon and an agreement would also be reached soon.
