This article presents information on various articles published in the journal "The Nation," in July 1934. One of the articles informs that U.S. labor leader William Green has grudgingly consented to the formation of a United Automobile Workers' National Council which is a first step toward forming one big union of automotive workers. Another article says that the frenzy of the motion picture censors has grown to cyclonic proportions. A great white cloud of purity hangs over Hollywood. Other articles focus on political conditions in the U.S.
