The article presents information about various exhibitions held in the U.S. as of December 03, 1960. The exhibition showing the work of artist James McNeill Whistler presents the true range of his work in all mediums. Whistler was born in Massachusetts in 1834 and educated from the age of eight to fifteen at Saint Petersburg. His expatriate status and individualism are partly accountable to the American prejudice against art. The essence of artistic form shows in two exhibitions of artist Berthe Morisot. One of her paintings, at Wildenstein's, for the benefit of the National Organization for Mentally Ill Children and the other, of-pastels, water colors and drawings, at the Slatkin Gallery.
