The article discusses about Chinese Communists in South-East Asia. With Chinese Communist regulars appearing on the borders of Indo-China and Burma, it has become of burning interest to countries far beyond South-East Asia. Imports of rice from Burma and Siam make up the considerable deficit of India, Ceylon, and East Pakistan, and their absence would have a very unsteadying influence. Great Britain and Holland have depended on the rubber, tin, and other products exported to the U.S. from Malaya, Borneo, and Indonesia for a considerable portion of their dollar credits.
