The article presents information on a group of Korean art and art objects which was the first comprehensive collection to be seen outside the Far East. It is on dispIay at the Metropolitan Museum. The works ranging from 200 B.C. to the nineteenth century includes jewelry, ceramics sculpture and painting-were selected from collections assembled in Korea by the Japanese during the first two ,decades of the century. The exhibit is touring the country under the auspices of the Korean Republic. The handsome arrangement and lighting of the pieces displayed are very effective.
