In this article, the author presents information on various films, like, "The Sun Also Rises" and "The Nymph and the Masochists." Both these motion pictures are made based on the stories of U.S. novelist Ernest Hemingway. "The Sun Also Rises" has been made as a romance between Jake Barnes and Lady Brett. The characters keep assuring one another that they are the lost generation, but the only thing this crowd has lost is Jake's potency. The author also reviews the film "A Man Escaped," by the French director Robert Bresson.
