The article presents a conversation between the author, a Colonel and an Italian guy called Mario about conditions prevailing in Italy and Rome during 1940s. The conversation is about the farce faced by the people in Italy as many public figures from Southern Italy had just been executed. Free Italy has executed the man of all those accused of specific crimes committed at a specific time. Former Italian Chief of Staff, head of the Military Intelligence Office, head of the most iniquitous and murderous organizations in the world, testified that he himself had organized two Fascist brigades in order to support the Spanish dictator, but he himself was a neutral person.
