This article presents a brief information on the play "Last of the Red Hot Lovers," by Neil Simon. The latest product of the Simon snap is about Barney Cashman, who owns a restaurant and there shucks clams and oysters. He has been married for some twenty years, has three children arid has always been a faithful husband. The time has come for adventure, for excitement. Tremulously, clumsily, --with ludicrous caution, he invites a customer to his mother's apartment in expectation of an "affair." One can scarcely remember any of the laugh lines, the reason being that they do not emerge from true character.
