Democrats: Spooked by Abstractions

The article describes the problems of the Democrats of U.S. and its seem that they are forwarding towards their political death. But Gallup polls indicates that the voters considers the Democrats better able to handle nation's problems. The Democratic National Committee's television spots soliciting campaign contributions did not even pay for themselves. Three out of four New York Democrats had not bothered for voting. So, there is a possibility of forming a fourth political party apart from Republican Party and Wallace Party. Democratic leadership is hesitant to raise bold ideas and debate them in a muscular way in U.S. Senate.
