The author presents his experience about the Nevada State Prison at Carson City, Nevada. The author was sentenced for three year imprisonment for possession of narcotics. In the Nevada prison, a college is located on the campus. Graduate courses are offered in this jail and the author served as a member of the graduate faculty. In the prison first of all a spray was sprayed on the author followed by physical examination. Then he was taken to clothing room and he was provided some cloths. The next steps in the process included fingerprinting, mugging, and finally an interview with the inmate clerk. The clerk ascertained and recorded the personal information. According to the author at the Nevada prison, the treasure in the hearts of men lies untrapped and unsought.
