The article describes the political activities in the United States during the 1953. The report given by Lewis Douglas favors the lower tariffs and more American private investment abroad and drop its traditional protectionism policy and make it possible for debtor nations to meet their obligations by selling goods to the United States. The second incident reports that the United nation' s Administrative Tribunal declared illegal the dismissal of eleven American members of the secretariat who had refused to answer questions before a Congressional subcommittee. Adlai Stevenson, head of Democratic party will deliver a speech from Chicago about the working of American administration and governmental policy.
