The article focuses on the book "The Western Intellectual Tradition: From Leonardo to Hegel," by J. Bronowski and Bruce Mazlish Harper. In this book the Harper and Bronowski have made genuine contribution towards ultimate intellectual fusion between the sciences and the humanities. The panorama of ideas on the topic which this volume opens to the reader is a noble one and the interpretation of the modern period of Western thought is of considerable importance. The most interesting and perhaps the most characteristic contribution is the detailed treatment of the industrial revolution, including incidentally its brilliant offspring.
