The article presents a letter related to the comments on the newspaper "The News Mob's," reporter Stan Opotowsky on the Battle of New Orleans' Schools. Opotowsky's statements as they related to the conduct of the press during the New Orleans, Louisiana, school crisis. He wrote that it soon became a moot question whether the reporters were the cause or the effect of the bomb scenes in front of the desegregated Frantz School. The ex-Mayor of New Orleans never visited the disturbed area; he did not talk to any Frantz parents or, indeed, to anyone with first-hand information of events in the area.
