Editing a little journal for a noble cause teaches one many things, and not a little about human folly. According to the author, the most impressive lesson he bring away from London, England has directly to do with the periodical Peace News or the peace movement. Still, he cannot forgo relating the single experience that added most to his political understanding. In London, the author did a number of interviews. When he spoke of the United States' relationship to the struggle in South Africa, people replied with confident simplicity, as if the author had suggested two and two might not equal four. At that moment, the author realized what it means to be an American in this age of revolution, according to him.
