This article discusses about the politics and government of the U.S. The latest scheme of Secretary Robert S. McNamara for solving the insoluble, a barrier of barbed wire, mines and esoteric devices across Vietnam just South of the formerly demilitarized zone leads to the suspicion that the situation of the U.S. is even more desperate than the public has been allowed to know. The real purpose of the project is political rather than military. Teachers in the U.S. are staging a revolt against the failure of the public to upgrade the status of the profession. They claim that they are concerned about the school system as well as about winning better conditions.
