In this article, the author focuses on new trends in British motion pictures by reviewing several films. He reports that from the time of director Tony Richardson's film "Tom Jones," British films have been greatly modernized in terms of artistic blend and presentation. The author presents information on several other films, such as, "Blow Up," by Michaelangelo Antonioni; "Accident," written by Harold Pinter and directed by Joseph Losey; "The Hunt," directed by Carlos Saura.
