The article comments on various theatrical production of Tennessee William. Tennessee Williams' "In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel," is a portrait of an artist at the nadir of his career. The play is an unabashed confession. Having had it produced may serve the author as therapy. Williams is a romantic and as such is greatly concerned in revealing himself and is most interested in those works of art winch clearly reveal their creators. His previous play "Gnädiges Fräulein" was another of his self-revelations. But what he had to say about himself there was objectified in funny, fascinating and oddly original symbols.
