The article comments on various theatrical production. Kenneth Cameron's "Papp," is a prank aimed at all religious orthodoxy. the Vatican in this entertainment is called the "vacation," the Savior is referred to as God's "only forgotten Son," the sacrament of confession becomes the "confusion." "The Miser," a production of the French dramatist Jean Baptiste Poquelin, is indeed a farce and as such a masterpiece. Ben Hecht and Charles Mac-Arthur's 1928 hit, "The Front Page" is a farcical melodrama which conceals the fact that it might have attained the status of genuine satire. It is, in any case, one of the best of American comedies and well worth the revival.
