For the second time in less than two years the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has committed what looks like an act of aggression, or at least provocation, against the United States. Alarms have been raised in various newspapers to the effect that politician Premier Kim II Sung is bent on unifying, and communizing, Korea by 1970 or thereabouts. These articles have consistently painted the DPRK in the most grim and drab colors, and do not fail to mention, that the number of incidents of DPRK military activity along the 38th Parallel or inside South Korea has vastly increased in recent years. The implication of all of this is that people may have to start worrying about a new war in Korea.
