The article focuses on political and economic conditions of various countries throughout the world. In its initial stage, the Korean War was the result of the conspiracies and blundets of Kim Il-Sung. Syngman Rhee, Dean Acheson, John Foster Dulles and Harry Truman, among others. Under Douglas MacArthur's prodding the Chinese joined in, and finally Dwight D Eisenhower, in what must rank as one of the principal achievements of his eight years in the Presidency ended the "police action" in a draw On the American side, more than 33,000 men were lost in battle and an additional 20,000 died from other causes.
