The article provides information on the recent developments related to the national security issue in the U.S. The pundits and politicians call for sanctions, censorship and regional compacts to prevent or at least discourage future acts of terrorism, however, the desperately sought response to terrorism is invariably elusive. The June 19 guerrilla attack on U.S. marines, American civilians and Salvadoran citizens in three crowded cafes in San Salvador, El Salvador, was a bloody act of war, but it was also a demonstration of the political dynamic taking shape in that revolution-torn Central American nation. It has been a busy time for the National Boycott Agency of the Federal Embargo Commission in the U.S. Department of Quarantine and Retaliation, as they are seriously concerned with the matter of airports' security issue.
