Presents an editorial on the launching of a new Middle East peace plan called the Geneva Accord. Backing for the plan from attendees, Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan and Nelson Mandela; Engineers of the accord who were Yasir Abed-Rabbo and Yossi Beilin who independently represented each side of the issue; Accord which seeks to settle the most difficult issues right away; Plan which calls for an international force to guarantee implementation and oversight; Details of the long struggle towards peace; Questions which have bee raised about various aspects of the Geneva Accord; Accord which is a campaign to put public pressure on dysfunctional leaders; An awakening of Israel's conscience; Concern that U.S. President George W. Bush won't do enough to pressure the peace process.
