Discusses the violent activities of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Saguya el Hamra and Rio de Oro (Polisario) against the occupying armies of Morocco and Mauritania. Events that may lead to big-power intervention in the Sahara; Threat by Moroccan king Hassan II to invade Algeria to strike at Polisario havens there; Spain's delivery of the colony for partition between Morocco and Mauritania.
