The article discusses topics related to National Security Council' computer system, military activities for the contras and tobacco industry. The select committees on the Iran contra affair are trying to gain access to the National Security Council's computer systems on the assumption that material written by key participants in the scandal may still be retrievable. Bosco Matamoros, spokesman on military activities for the contras said that if the United States doesn't assist the contras, the Chinese might and thus gain a toehold in Central America.
