Presents editorials discussing subjects and articles published in previous issues of "The Nation." Peekaboo," which calls for the impeachment of U.S. President Richard Nixon; "Grand Ole Opry," which discussed U.S. Senator James Buckley and his call for Nixon's resignation; "Watergate Crosses the Atlantic," which discussed the withdrawing of U.S. troops from western Europe; "Throwing the Book," which discussed the role of Portuguese colonial administrator Antonio de Spinola in the public movement against the repressive regime of dictator Marcelo Caetano; "Sterilization: Coercing Consent," which discussed how the Department of Health, Education and Welfare have been sterilizing children and the mentall ill; "Lancing the Piles," which calls for an investigation into the allegations against the FBI of using agents provocateurs, fake arrests, and inspired media reports against dissident groups.
