The article discusses various motion pictures related to several issues. The motion picture "Jagged Edge," is only about chemistry. The movie is still a diverting and unsettling thriller, despite an ending that lacks the necessary twist. The movie "Compromising Positions," is about decor, attitude and chemistry: the hilarious interiors of Long Island homes, the wacky ways of the housewives, especially actors Judith Ivey as best friend and Mary Beth Hurt as girl next door and the subdued intensity of the detective and the reporter.
