The article discusses some of the political updates related to the U.S. Journalist Sydney Schanberg wrote an energetic column about New York City. He even dared to write harshly about Westway, the construction and real estate industries and white-collar chicanery of diverse sorts. Martha Honey, a journalist, reported on the Canadian Broadcasting System's about a right-wing group in Central America that, among other things, organized the attempted assassination of ARDE leader Eden Pastora Gómez last year. According to Honey, the would-be assassin of Pastora was a Libyan right-wing exile. Representatives of the group, including an American C.I.A. agent who operates undercover as a journalist, apparently hired him in Chile early last year.
