The article comments on some latest publishing in newspapers. It says that with the sale of ABC to Capital Cities Communications, the largest non-gas-related takeover in the history of the world, attention focused on Warren Buffett, the Nebraska-based investor. The New York Times Business section ran a flattering article about Buffett. Just in time for the Oscars, The New York Times ran an enormous article in its living section about new Los Angeles restaurants. This shows that The Times truly is a national paper, attaching as much importance to trends in sushi presentation in Beverly Hills as to the soaring mortality rate for black infants between the ages of 1 month and 12 months.
