The article presents information on political developments around the world. Accounts from the counterrevolutionaries' camps in Honduras suggest that preparations are already under way even before final Congressional action on the $100 million military aid package for a vastly escalated conflict in Central America, supervised and supplied at every stage by U.S. President Ronald Reagan administration. If it's true that Reagan administration is deliberately altering its course, if not abruptly changing its direction, on South Africa, this may be the opportune time to move toward independence for neighboring Namibia.
