The article focuses on sociopolitical issues related to different parts of the world. The victory of Jos&eacute Napoleon Duarte's Christian Democratic Party in El Salvador's parliamentary and mayoral elections has yet to be officially confirmed. One of the article reports on a debate conducted at the University of South California attended by various journals. No one deserves more credit for U.S. President Ronald Reagan's MX missile victory in Congress than Max Kampelman, the disarmament negotiator who took a brief break from selling Star Wars to the Russians in Switzerland to lay in more merchandise of death in Washington.
