Comments that, while retired Gen. Wesley Clark may have entered the race for the U.S. presidency with a reputation for being the "antiwar warrior" who opposes George W. Bush's Iraq War, a series of pronouncements by Clark suggest that he may in fact have supported the war. Contradictory statements about the Iraq War made by Clark on the campaign trail; Views Clark had previously expressed as a CNN commentator; Charge that Clark, by failing to take a clear stand on the issue, is misreading the largely anti-war Democratic Party base; Democrat Howard Dean's success as a genuinely anti-Bush, anti-war candidate.
