The article presents views on the influence of neoconservative politicians over U.S. President George W. Bush's foreign policy for the Middle East. The neoconservatives were proven wrong on various issues, including the existence of weapons of mass destruction inside Iraq and assuring Bush about the ease of installing a U.S. regime in Baghdad. Senator Joe Biden's reaction to the President's speech on the defense budget was to insist that Bush would need more money than the $87 billion requested by the Administration.
