This article focuses on various music performances and records of several noted musicians, specially "Phonograph Blues," by Robert Johnson. Johnson recorded this music in November 1936 and is supposed to be one of the first blues references to the technology. Some other famous music of Johnson are: "Crossroads Blues," "Last Fair Deal Gone Down," "32-20 Blues" and "Kindhearted Woman Blues," and "Robert Johnsorn King of the Delta Blues Singers," produced by Frank Driggs. Bluesmen performed primarily for dancers at juke joints, outdoor parties and picnics, as well as on street corners, wherever an audience with spare change and spare time could gather.
