The article features musician Miles Davis and his works. Examples of album titles by Davis include Live-Evil, Dark Magus, Sorcerer and Black Devil. His music embody an admission of perfidy, malice and vengefulness, and further convey the prideful glorification of those transgressions. In the 1970s, critics disregarded his electric music describing it as a dissolute phase, while some perceive it as tired, evidence of an aging talent attempting to be contemporary. During this time, he seemed to have become an oneiric figure in whom fiction and truth commingled, as he dressed himself in flashy silks.
