The article discusses the intelligence gathered by the U.S. government prior to the Iraq War, regarding the alleged weapons of mass destruction (WMD) possessed by Iraq. Intelligence officials are contradicting what the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush was claiming before the war, that there is no doubt that the intelligence gathered by the U.S. and other governments reveal that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised. Two issues should be subjected under Congressional investigation. First, is the intelligence often cited by Bush with regard to WMDs in Iraq and the supposed Al Qaeda-Hussein alliance. The second issue is how the Administration represented this intelligence in their pronouncements.
