The article comments on the fundraising efforts of U.S. President George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Laura Bush in preparation for the U.S. presidential elections in 2004. According to the author, Bush is soliciting on corporate executives, lobbyists and wealthy individuals he has enriched. He plans to raise $170 million for the 2004 primaries.
