The article deals with the story released by Brigadier General Vincent Brooks to the press regarding the rescue of soldier Jessica Lynch. In April 2, 2006 in Doha, Qatar, Brooks summoned the press to announce the success of the U.S. Army in rescuing Lynch. And like the other briefings given to the press people, the information has been limited. At the normal briefing on April 3, the military officials did not even mention about a rescue. When correspondent Tom Mintier inquired about the video, Brooks just told them the story that would come to be known Saving Private Lynch.
