In this article, the author addresses the failure of the Bush administration to produce an intelligence report regarding the impact on Iraq of the fall of Saddam Hussein. According to the author, the administration deliberately ignored the concerns expressed by some government officials who predicted that postwar Iraq will be chaotic and violent, and that Iraqis will not welcome the U.S. armies with open arms. The author revealed that the government officials did not challenge the intelligence report given to them which claims that Iraqi would like to have the U.S. interfering with their government.
